Keeping your closed loop cooling systems working efficiently is easier with the complete line of technologies from GE Water & Process Technologies. GE's CorrShield and Spectrus product lines will help you manage a variety of chemistries and system conditions.

	Corrshield - Superior corrosion protection to maintain cleanliness in steel, copper, and mixed metallurgy systems.
	CorrShield MD Series are moybdate-based products that are particularly effective at controlling corrosion in static conditions. CorrShield NT includes nitrite-based products that inhibit corrosion for ferrous and nonferrous metals in both hot and chilled water systems. CorrShield OR products replace molybdate and nitrite with organic corrosion inhibitors, which makes handling, application, and disposal easier.

The CorrShield line has been successfully applied in systems using demineralized, softened, and hard water makeup. It has proven effective in chilled water systems and in pressurized hot water systems at over 300°F (149°C). It is compatible with glycol and alcohol antifreeze solutions, including calcium chloride and sodium chloride brine solutions.

	Spectrus - Effective biological control of an array of microbes (algae, fungi, bacteria, protozoa, etc.), mollusks and other macro-fouling organisms.
	Spectrus OX (oxidizers) Spectrus NX (non-oxidizing)

The effective biological control of Spectrus protects against microbiologically influenced corrosion and microbe growth, such as Legionellosis, that could pose a significant human health risk.
