Dechlorination

Dechlorination

Convenient dechlorination

Feedwaters to membrane systems often have been treated with chlorine to retard microbiological growth prior to the membrane separation process. This chlorine, however, can irreversibly damage many thin film composite membranes.

GE Water & Process Technologies' DeChlor DCL series is designed to remove free and combined chlorine from Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) feedwaters.

DeChlor DCL30 offers the following features:

Sodium bisulfite
General industrial applications
Liquid formulation

DeChlor DCL33 offers the following features:

Sodium bisulfite
NSF approved
Food-grade (FCC) solution
Liquid formulation

DeChlor DCL95 offers the following features:

Sodium metabisulfite(Na2S2O5)
Most economical form
Must be mixed in storage tank
Food-grade (FCC) powder
Does not promote bacterial growth if used in proper dosages
